Water Jetting Module Training
Practical Water Jetting Training
It is a Water Jetting Association requirement that operatives combine the Water Jetting Safety Awareness course with a relevant practical course, to obtain the most thorough instruction in safe and effective water jetting. Operatives will only be registered with the WJA international database and receive their WJA photo ID card if they have successfully passed the Safety Awareness course and a relevant module.
The Safety Awareness certificate remains valid for 3 years, after which a refresher course can be taken every 3 years which renews the certificate. All secondary module certificates remain valid whilst accompanied by an up to date Safety Awareness Certificate.
Secondary Modules;
- Drain & Sewer Cleaning
- Surface Preparation
- Tube & Pipe Cleaning
- Hydrodemolition
- Pressure Washing
Drain & Sewer (Half Day)
The Drain and Sewer Cleaning Course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and understanding of the various methods employed to overcome any difficulties which may be encountered when clearing domestic and industrial drains and sewer systems.
Delegates will gain knowledge of the correct pressures, types of nozzles and equipment to use, along with the safe working practices required. This half a day course consists of a theoretical session followed by a practical session and successful candidates are issued with the Drain and Sewer certificate.
Surface Preparation (Half Day)
The Surface Preparation course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and understanding of the various methods employed when using high pressure jetting equipment to clean surfaces.
The Surface Preparation course covers all aspects from job assessment and planning, through to safe working practices and use of jetting equipment. This half a day course consists of a theoretical session followed by a practical session and successful candidates are issued with the Surface Preparation certificate.
Tube & Pipe Cleaning (Half Day)
The Tube & Pipe Cleaning course provides delegates with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the safe use of high pressure water jetting equipment, together with appropriate accessories involved for various tube and pipe cleaning applications.
This half a day course consists of a theoretical session followed by a practical session and successful candidates are issued with the Tube & Pipe Cleaning certificate.
Hydrodemolition (Full Day)
The Hydrodemolition course provides delegates with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the controlled use of high-pressure water jets to remove or demolish concrete. The course also reviews safe working practices involved when using high pressure water jetting in various concrete cutting and removal applications.
This full day course and consists of a theoretical session followed by a practical session and successful candidates are issued with the Hydrodemolition certificate.
Pressure Washing (Full Day)
The Pressure Washing course gives delegates the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the controlled use of high-pressure water jetting to remove graffiti, mold, grime, dust, mud, chewing gum and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete surfaces. The course covers machines ranging from 250-4000 bar and all appropriate nozzles and accessories.
This is a full day course and consists of a theoretical session followed by a practical session and successful candidates are issued with a Pressure Washing certificate.
